Although Asheville Watchdog is run by unpaid part-time volunteers, we recently added our first three paid, full-time journalists, whose salaries are paid from your generous donations. Additional funds raised will go toward covering our current expenses — mainly liability insurance to protect our volunteers from potential lawsuits — and to allow us to hire more full-time reporters to expand our coverage.
